Just Because

This has been circulating online a little bit. Don’t you just love a good surprise? When something exceeds expectations derived from mere image alone? So often in the scheme of things looks are a fraction of the equation for someone’s self-worth or ability.

I have all these pictures. Tons of them. I stockpile them. As they get older, I begin to feel indifferent about them. I don’t like the way stomach looks in that set, my hair in that set. Those pictures are just plain dated . . . So on and so forth.

Initially the plan was to save up for the streaming member’s site. Keep things exclusive, right? Time marched on, I started a whole new website and called it The New Brent Corrigan because I wanted people to know this was the NEW one. The current one. Sort of like how New York came after York, I guess. Well, now here I am calling myself new and pretty much all I have to share is the old. Why not let it flow freely, generously, knowing more can always be done?

These pictures were taken almost exactly a year a go. Give or take a few short days. They were meant to accompany Working Hard as online content, so a cover shot was never developed. Later, when we arranged the DVD because of delays on the development of this website, I had to shoot a whole new image that was suitable for cover layout. This set was forgotten. Now, you can see the scenes of Working Hard in the VIP section as well as these photos, uploaded today.

I almost didn’t post the butt shot below. This is a really great shot, but the ever present critic within me looks at this and points out a handful of things that could have made it better. On the cock and ass shot below, to be a truly great adult image my dick should have been shifted to the left a little bit, to run closer to parallel my left leg. In doing so, it maximizes the vantage point of my shaft. If my cock was going to hang down like that to make it an erotic shot, then is should have been harder. Bigger is better! This is America. Land of deep dish Pizza, Texas, and yes – The Big Apple.

However, if my penis had been taken out of the shot entirely, it could have passed as a completely different genre of photo. And my balls, of course. You rarely ever see just the testicles hanging down on an ass shot. What use are pair of balls without a little cock? Maybe not the most original piece of art, I admit, but all this debate about art on the blog here has me thinking more about it . . .

I’ve finally move forward, with the love and nurturing of my boyfriend, and acquired a professional grade camera. Originally this was meant to be a conservative move. As I begin to shoot new content for the website, it just makes sense to take my own pictures of the models. I can save money this way and lets be honest: no one understands what I want more than I do, of course. Next, I have to figure out a way to buy a softbox. In my opinion the softbox is one of the two most important pieces of lighting equipment a new photographer can have. An external flash being the other one.

Criticism aside, I’m feeling a little more generous today I look forward to sharing some of what I come up with on my own in the near future!
