The Real Official Website Of Actor, Director & Adult Star

Aug

Here I am! In my towel. Sitting in my dorm room. Reflecting on the first two days of filming Judas Kiss.  Somehow the audio track has become jilted from the video toward the last third. It doesn’t match up with my lips. Although I will say I was watching it and I found it kind of funny being able to hear what I was saying; and then immediately after watching my physical reaction. I didn’t reshoot it because most of the time I prefer to post the first blog that comes from within me. It’s raw, organic, personal and often times a little flawed. Like the part where I proclaim Timo said I overacted something. What I meant was J.T. said that, and what he actually said was “don’t overact it!” after giving me some direction (I think he was cautioning me).

Almost always I post the first video that comes about while doing my video blogs.  Most of the time the best clips just happen because they are on the fly. Once you start rehearsing and scripting a video blog, the honesty pales a bit and the whole tone of what you are trying to communicate can be affected.

Anyway! I’ve got the next two or three days off. I’m going to catch some Behind the Scenes video of the other actors and work on some updates for VIP on the website here. For now, I am going to enjoy the Seattle heat because this is a once in a year phenomenon!

Your Friend and Lover,
Brent

You’re taking your work seriously. That’s good. I have heard that acting in movies is hard, tedious work. I don’t think I could be an actor in a film, I don’t like to get up early in the morning! Btw, the printing on your bag of trail mix is backwards in the You Tube video!

  • I know the printing is backwards. Isn’t that weird?! For whatever reason the little camera I use to record these on my MacBook flips everything.

  • John

I think you’re too hard on yourself. You showed us what you could do with “In the Closet”. I thought your performance in that was exceptional and not just when you had a line, but the expressions on your face when you weren’t speaking which said more than any dialogue ever could. That’s acting. The potential has always been there and with such a great director I think you could do really well on this project.

    • Kool UK Dude

Well, I don’t wish to appear hyper-critical but I don’t think BC’s acting in “In the Closet” was any good.

      It was very self conscious.

This comes from too limited an experience of acting, but this will naturally go away with more experience I think.

The victory of “In the Closet” was that it happened.

I think BC should be doing amateur drama in his part-time. In the UK where I am there are many amateur drama groups and these are superb places to learn acting away from the spotlight.

I’m sure they also have groups like this in the US and this is what BC should do imho.

Thats really reflective actually, pretty cool to hear the life of an actor from your perspective =)

12 hours in that heat, that sounds really tough!

I hope you keep blogging, coz it’s really interesting to hear =)

  • MsNJS

‘Bramadero’- Beautiful, artistic, porn! Check it out.

  • Jakeisready

Thanks for the update; really interesting take on film making. Please keep posting. I find your VLOGS
    fascinating.

  • proudmb

Very cool! Way to go, Brent!

Oh, and just FYI, it’s very common for webcams to flip the image. Basically, it’s so that when you’re monitoring it, you have a mirror image. It would be confusing for the user if it weren’t mirrored because then your image would move in the opposite direction that you expect.

There’s a pretty cool app that can fix it that I use. It’s called iGlasses I think. I want to say I bought it for $8. Maybe something to check out.

    Keep up the good work!

You have my respect for doing something like this. I don’t think that I would have the heart to be an actor. Thank you for giving me a reason to stop thinking I have a harder job.

:D You sound like you’re having fun, even with the heat and the anxieties. And I don’t think we mind listening to your ramblings. :D They always make my day, at least.

And I’ve shot some stuff behind the scenes with my own camera, and that was tedious. I can only imagine just how frustrated the actors get. :)

Great to see & hear you are doing well. I never liked vlogs much but love yours!

By the way, are there students in the dorm?

  • Billy

I’ve never acted and I’m sure it’s very challenging, but your vlogs seem so natural and honest, particularly this one. Perhaps when your searching for believability while acting you could pretend you are talking to us on one your vlogs. It’s probably easier said than done…

  • greygooz75@gmail.com

hello, your video is great, when you see on the video about your job, it makes you want to do the same,

  • Don3

What a delight you are to see – being just out there honest and direct with us… Thanks, Brent.

  • Quantz

Could you have done it better? Surely. But you’re still a beginner. You are not expected to win an Academy Award for your performance. So don’t worry too much – you’ll make it anyway. I’m sure of that.

  • WOW, it’s amazing that it’s so hot in Seattle. Sounds like a great new project. When will we see release? I guess it’s too early to tell. Just as editing is done on regular blogs, you can clearly edit your vblogs without missing spontaneaty. You can do a couple of takes and put up your fave easily. Hell, what do I know. I just admire you and your work.

  • Loved your Vlog! I for one love hearing behind the scene stuff. Gives the finished product a little more meaning knowing what the actors were going through! The part I loved the best was your Good-bye, very Dolly Levi if you ask me! LOVE IT! Keep those cards and letters coming and BREAK A LEG!

  • Kenneth

Id love to be in a movie with you you seem like someone to just have fun lol but sadly I couldnt do what you do id forget lines and being out in the heat god they would kick me off the set for getting a bit upset

  • Stuart Woodhead-Carrington

Hi Brent, great video but im allergic to nuts lol xx

  • Nate

Aww Brent you just got to show them that you are a good actor (because i know you are!) .Use all these emotions your sharing with us and let them out when your acting it will make it so much more real and show them that they underestimated how good you are! Relax and take it easy and most importantly have fun, we all know you’ll be great!

  • jeff

you are so adorable…….how do i get your book?????

  • Kevin

You are so funny, cute and infectious! Please keep making these.

  • icemann10

    Brent,

You’re a perfectionist like myself. We will never do that “perfect” take. Even if we do, the hair could be better or your could smile a different way or the voice could have a different tone and on and on. Soooooooooo…know what you do is probably better than ANYONE could do so give yourself a break. You get an A+.. You’re the best. Cross my heart. Mwah.. John – Pasadena, CA

  • troihart

Brent, I think ur are so adorable on his Vlogs. Adorable.

    Keep being real

  • We saw an interview here with Timo on the Belgian TV. You were in de background getting some make up… Your name was mentioned and Timo confirmed that you are a porn star too. That is not shocking the nation here but it is news. I hope you have lots of fun and take good care of our belgian beauty ;-)

    Brent,
The video logs are great, I think all your fans are so happy that you having such a great time even if it is hard work on this new film. But personally I’m really excited for your new adventure, your still young and have the character of youth so get yourself out there and enjoy the rewards of the non-adult film industry because you deserve to go far in it!
Anyway I love what ur doing so keep it up!!

I wish you all success in this latest venture.

BTW: I know you are very careful about parts of your private life but I hope you have had time to touch bases with your family while you’re in Seattle.

  • Talked before on MM but just heard your in town! Can’t wait for the fundraiser at the Lobby! I offered to be a volunteer photographer so keeping my fingers crossed! :) All the best to you and good luck shooting!

I totally agree with you on the whole artistic side of not just “doing a job” but actually “creating art”. My respect for you has soared after that. I can tell from your videos that you are very modest and humble and I really appreciate that about you. I can’t wait to see your artistic capabilities and see your creativity shine because I really think you can do more than pornos. :)

    I’ll always be supporting you!

  • Cintronite Cintronite
